Hi, I think the DC board is fine as the charger turns orange, which means the charger is detected. Seems like the battery has had it. Or you might have not plugged all the cables in properly. Please check all the cables are seated properly. You can also check when plugging in the charger if the charge level on the battery is rising. Also try booting without the battery.
Hi, If you watch the teardown guide on here of your macbook and the newer one you will see that there is a comment made that the display flex cable is longer than previous models. Your best bet is to book an appointment with the genius bar and proceed that way.
Hi, Are you sure the flex cable is damaged ? If it is, then the flex cable can be repaired but needs professional tools and steady hands. Otherwise, it a new panel. Also dont throw the panel away as you need to copy the information from your old panel to the new one, so that true tone works.

Hi, I would suggest use an app to control your fans, so that they spin a bit more faster which in turn will keep the temps down. I would suggest try using this app and see how it works. You could also try and re-apply your cpu compound which will help as well to reduce the temps. https://www.crystalidea.com/macs-fan-control Hope this will solve your issue.
