The only way is powering on the Device like @oldturkey03 says, modern mobile devices are encrypted and encrypting keys only work if some hardware is detected, like iphones they need CPU ID, NAND ID etc. If you take out the EMMC you can’t access to the information because you need the key to decrypt the volume. Old Android devices don’t have this feature by default and you can see the information like a usb stick device.
Never let liquid dry inside of any electronic device, take it apart clean it and replace damaged components. It is like a countdown when corrotion start damaging your motherboard. If you dont have the skills take it to a good Cell-Phone Repair place and they can service it.

You have to replace that small burned component (micro-soldering skills required). If you don’t have experience take it to a computer repair shop. Replacing that component will take 5 mins, and additional inspection looking for short circuit another 10 mins.
