"Why is my iPhone not showing many Wi-Fi networks?" Hey Ethan, I have had a couple iPhone 6 models that have done this as well. You can try to use the method of resetting the “Network Settings” in the settings menu to see if that helps. Its worked twice for me, but in my findings it has resulted in the iPhone not being able to detect certain frequencies from routers. If you can review the configuration of the wireless network, try to reconfigure how the router broadcasts. Good Luck!

"Why is my MacBook Pro getting hot?" Hey chrono If water damage has occurred then you may be in the process of shorting a component out. You should take the lid off the back of the MacBook and remove all the covers from all the parts. You will need to clean and let dry al the covers and components that could have been at risk. If overheating or burning is occuring this is a part on the Logic Board being damaged.

"iPhone tips that'll keep your battery running longer?" Hey Albert What I would first do would be to turn on “Low Power Mode” in the battery menu of the Settings. Low power mode temporarily reduces power consumption by minimizing the iPhone’s activity of fetching mail, certain Siri functions such as “Hey Siri”, background app refresh, automatic downloads, certain visual effects, etc,. So really you can say that this mode puts the iPhone into state of hibernation for its features. This helps the performance of the battery since the phone won’t constantly be uploading and downloading information. If you also use your iPhone for work and on the go make sure to turn on “Night Shift” at night time to help reduce the displays backlight usage. Also close out any applications that you may not need running in “App Switcher” when you are done. This helps reduce the iPhone from having to throttle CPU speeds which burn the battery up quicker. The biggest one I tell people, is to please, please, please turn on Auto-Lock. this feature locks the iPhone after about 30 seconds...

"Can't diagnose erratic trackpad behavior"に関する回答Hey BRADPETIT That is a weird behavior that you are experiencing, make sure to start you have no bluetooth mouses, corded mouses, or wireless USB mouses connected to the MacBook. If you are using the onboard trackpad, open “System Preferences” and check the trackpad behaviors to see if it could be one of those. If everything seems to be ok. You could try to reseat the connector for the trackpad. For MacBook Air models it looks like a cable very similar to the battery connector, that is seated right above the trackpad frame. You should also check to verify that there is no debris, obstruction, water damage, and or scratches on the trackpad. By reseating the cable, this to a point resets the hardware and may solve your problem. I doubt this issue is anything related to software, especially after you said you reinstalled macOS. You can try another trackpad from your donor MacBook just to see what happens. If you still encounter the error it probably would be best to replace the trackpad altogether. Good Luck!

"Powers down while starting"に関する回答Hey Gord This could be either one of a hardware issue or a software issue. I would first begin by resetting the SMC (System Management Controller). Sometimes this component becomes confused on certain operations that may result in abnormal behavior. To reset the SMC connect the MagSafe cable then hold the “Shift” + “Control” + “Option” keys while you press the power. You will know the SMC is reset when you see the charging indicator change colors from green to amber. Since you already replaced the battery on the MacBook, you can rule out the battery not delivering peak power performance, so try to pull up Activity Monitor on the MacBook if you can get it to start. This will show you if there are processes running that are shutting the MacBook down, or running scripts that are creating these issues. If not load the macOS Cloud Recovery by restarting the Mac and holding the “Option” key before you hit the power button then load Disk Utility. You will want to run the “First Aid” feature on the HDD that is...

"Advice on a component I knocked off"に関する回答Hey Jacob You can replace the capacitor from a 3rd party vendor, and you will have to solder the new one back on. Im not sure who carries the capacitors for the Logic Board though. The easier route would probably be just to replace the Logic Board entirely. You can find a Logic Board for your iPhone 6s inexpensively to install so you don’t have to mess with soldering components or matching individual codes and specifications. You can try Amazon or Newegg for the Logic Board, those two would have reasonable prices. For the capacitor I’m not sure who would sell it. Good Luck!

"Why wont my psp3001 connect to my wireless router?" Hey ticktock623 You are correct, the PSP’s wireless card is a very old piece of technology that operates on a different language than your home router does. It is normal that the PSP wireless card is showing “Incompatible” when you attempt to connect it to your network. Your router should have whats called a “Legacy Mode”. This allows older devices such as your PSP for instants to connect to the router as would any other device, it just operates at a slower speed and connection type that the PSP can read. After you change the configuration to allow the router to use “Legacy Mode” connect the PSP to the network. After this is successful run a software update on the system to make sure there is no outstanding updates for the OS and hardware. Good Luck!

"My hard drive crashed"に関する回答Hey hubertkeene This looks like an older laptop, you may have to install Windows with the Windows Install Disc. You can attempt to create bootable media for Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 to install to the new drive. However, you need to make sure that the hardware inside it supports the requirements of Windows. If they do you are ok to install, if not you will need to re-install Windows XP that came with the laptop. Or if you have a backup of the drive you had in the machine before it died, you can use Windows Restore to restore the image you had from the other one to the new drive. Good Luck!
