Ok, here is what you do: 1.Order your screen from ebay or amazon and take it to some computer repair shop and get it replaced. Or 2. Call Asus customer care if Your product is till now under warranty. 3. Or just get this all done at computer repair shop. Bdw, where are you from.
Get an os dvd, insert it, on your pc , it will itself show you press any key to boot, and in the case it doesn't, on the pc, continuously keep pressing f2 button until blue screen apears, there select DVD drive as first boot option Hit f10 and will work.
I was facing same problem, fault was in video cable and I knew it not, I replaced screens two times as there was shock in video cable that would damage the display. Now I ordered both display and cable, hope they dispatch soon.
Every Asus latop got a Dvd within which you get softwares kind of useful .After you install ,or already installed touchpad software, you can see it in right side of taskbar, open it there and enable it.
