Boy_ this is the same torture I went through with the top of the line Canon color inkjet - it sat several months while in Europe_ and just when it was needed_ it's now down to a new print head_ a bit spendy last time I checked. I also tried the rescue treatment with alcohol,, and no luck. He was such a great printer, actually blew me away. Best of luck with this issue. Cheers
As ALton mention: Also If needed, upgrade plug to flat style so cord fits the angle needed to keep cord stealth, or just better space managed. Chop to length as needed, then attach new plug to extension cord, and you kill 2 birds, and now he gets cord for the shop.

Quite a Few Factors involved - We'll assume 200,000 miles. Current care along the way, Trany Fluid Chges - mandated. Drive train inspection- rear end serviced, all typical service. Automatic wise, I still shift it manually, to help keep clutch packs from severe up shift demanding hits when there is high mileage. Instead, take each gear a little higher in speed, backing off on up shift , to let clutch packs get a good grip first, before applying power... it's just a half sec. Hard hits by itself- tell me clutch packs are about done, The gap is such, when fluid is applied, it has to force the piston plate further to squeeze the clutch packs, and you might have foot pressing on throttle at the same time - forcing it to hit harder just as it's about to engage. We'd roll it into Tranny Shop for full testing. In a rare case, vacuum also controls soft / hard hits, But I'm not sure on this model. This might be full Mazda Drive train.
Find or use macro setting on a camera w/o flash on, but do use light source aimed into USB Port. So we get micro-scope clear sharp view of port. I just tried this, it's not easy, but it's clear full screen view. Just no way to get it here at the moment. Even one of the 4 contacts must be distorted enough, bumping either into each other Or one of them made contact to ground, as a dead short. If switching bulb to other side verifies bulb is Ok, Or simply using test leads to truck battery - Then you'll more than likely have fuse problem, This panel might be in engine bay, if not inside cab. The user manual will have location for fuse. Note: By Chance , was a trailer used recently? I've seen this being the case many times, The lead on trailer, or socket is damaged. Blows the fuse.
