@refectio Minho thanks for all the support you give to people here. I found this article by searching for PMU_TO_SYSTEM_COLD_RESET_L . I recently bought a cheap USB Oscillopscope and Logic Analyser which I used to confirm that this line was toggling. See image, as you can see the line is only up for 50ms before going low again (reset is low) so hard to find with a multi meter. I would encourage all repairers to look at this device as it also decodes I2C and SPI. Like Oliver all of my PMU lines were not shorted but as soon as the line goes low there’s no PP1V8 so no I2C etc., On DC power I saw the phone going from 0 mA to 3mA very quickly. Your post led me to look at reset lines and although I cannot get to these I thought the most likely was the TRISTAR_TO_PMU_HOST_RESET so I changed Tristar and boom …. all fixed… Thanks once once you’re a *
A common problem is long screw damage. This is on the shield that covers the display connectors, there is one long screw and if you put it into the wrong hole it will damage the traces inside the motherboard. It is common for the display to no longer work. It could also be a blown filter that may have been shorted to ground when you opened the phone when powered up. This is a very small component soldered onto the motherboard..... Either way if you want to get the phone back to life it will need a professional repairer that does micro soldering
