I have a 2012 Terrain 2.4l all wheel drive. I had these dreaded speed sensor codes and stability control lights. The thing that sucks the most is that if one of the components has issues it effect all of them. I had no all wheel drive because (what i thought anyway) of a ABS light on my dash. Turns out that there is a sensor ring that is on the wheel hub. its a thin strip with dashes in it. that is what the wheel speed sensor reads, which is how the ABS is controlled as well as the stability control, and all wheel drive. long story short. Those strips on the hub can get dirty or damaged rather easily, and if it does that will cause a mess of codes and is a diy’ers troubleshooting nightmare. You can get new wheel hubs for not that much money and if you change your own brakes and rotors you can most likely handle this. hardest part is knocking off the existing hubs (hit it harder than you would think with a bigger hammer than you would think). You do need a torque wrench and a 30mm or 32mm socket for the hub...
