Hello, my name is Allison Thorburn, I am currently enrolled in the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth studying in Computer Science. I am aspiring to be a software engineer. A project that I was proud to be apart of would be my high school plastic bottle reduction project. A skill I would like to share with a future employer would be my communicative skills. I have learnt how to fix a car tire for my car in the past and am curious on learning other things as well. Awards that I have won would be the academic achievement award during my first years of studying at community college and also the NFTE certification. I have been apart of the esports team at my college. I enjoy reading in my spare time and also play tons of video games and study things about history. I believe this project will benefit me by developing the understanding on how to share information to specific audiences more efficiently and affectively. Lastly, a fun fact that I would like to share is that I have a 104 year old great aunt!
