- Major—Why did you choose this major? Mechanical engineering, I was on a robotics team in high school which sparked my interest in engineering but specifically the design and manufacturing side.
- Aspirations—What do you want to be/do? What are your hopes and dreams? I hope to work for the Navel Undersea Warfare Center doing some sort of research and development.
- Skills—Are there any special skills you’d like to share with a future employer? I have my SolidWorks CSWA as a freshman, and I have experience in machining and manufacturing.
- Projects/accomplishments—Is there anything you’ve built/made/done that you’re proud of? I built a 10’x12’ shed for my Eagle Scout project.
- Repair experience—Have you fixed anything? If not, is there something you’d like to learn how to fix? I have fixed parts on my car, but I’m looking for more experience with smaller electronics.
- Accolades—Have you won any awards or received special recognition? I earned my Eagle Scout, and I am an honors student on the Chancellors list.
- Groups/memberships—Do you belong to any clubs/societies/organizations? Yes, the mechanical engineering club, the SolidWorks club and the cornhole club.
- Hobbies—What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to drink a lot of coffee, specifically from a Nespresso.
- How does this project relate to you?—How will your experience with this project benefit you professionally or personally? I will allow me to practice my technical writing skills, in a real environment with actual standards to meet.
- Any other fun facts you’d like to add?— I can skateboard and I like rock music.
