If your computer has been freezing/hanging a lot, there could be several causes. You may want to start with checking on how much space is left on your drives. If any of your drives are almost full, this can cause slower, worse performance, which can be solved by clearing some space on the drive. Before deleting files to free space, check to see if you have a second slot for an additional SSD (Solid State Drive). This will add more space. Another reason could be due to a hard drive. These are mechanical, so they perform slower than modern SSDs. If you still have a mechanical hard drive, I recommend replacing it with an SSD. You may want to check if there is debris trapped under the rubber pads on the button contacts, which requires opening the steam deck. If this is the case, gently clean the debris with some isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip.

Based on the information you gave, it sounds like you are saying your MacBook is dead, so if all of the charging ports don't work, the only way may be to get a replacement battery just so you can access said files. That may not work, however, and if the type-C drive did not work, I am not sure if there is any viable way to access the files. You may also be able to take out the drive with the files, and put it in a working MacBook to access them. If these options don't work, I am not sure what else is out there, regarding solutions.

I have had this happen with my Nintendo Switch Pro controllers before as well. The first step is to take the back plate of the controller off, open it up, and carefully lift the triggers and rubber pads up. If you see any debris, or corrosion, use some isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip to gently wipe it off of the contact. If this still doesn't work, you may need to get a new controller, unless you're willing to replace the internal board.

Has the Versa 3 powered on? If it doesn't you may need to see if it is an internal issue.
