"How do I restore the lightning connector surface when it wears down?"に関する回答Good afternoon Bill! Over time lightning cables can lose their effectiveness if the contacts are dirty/worn off. If the gold contacts are still present on the cable, you can use some high concentration (I use 99%) ISO alcohol to clean them. If the contacts are gone, its sadly time for a new cable. Also sometimes your charge port can have some debris in it. If your charging cable does not go in all the way and make that wonderful “click” sound then you can take a toothpick and CAREFULLY scrape the port away from the contacts. If you do this, please be very careful with the contacts as to not bend them. I hope this helps! Roy
"Charger goes green, the orange, but never charges the battery"に関する回答Solly, Good afternoon! More than likely you are in need of a new battery. I have been seeing a lot of 2012-2014 MacBooks coming in to bet battery replacements. You can get a battery tool such as Coconut Battery to check your battery’s health. Similar to phones, MacBooks have a limited number of cycles before the battery can no longer perform. I hope this helps! Roy
"How to stop an unwanted power off post battery install?"に関する回答Good afternoon Mark! I have had this exact same thing happen to me on an iPad 6. I had isolated the battery through the repair and when reassembled it would not pull amps with the screen off and would restart every 2-3 minutes. I took it back apart and removed the motherboard to inspect the battery connections. To my surprise, there was a small spec of dust preventing one of the contacts on the board from getting good connection. Removed said dust, reassembled, and the device has been working ever since. I cannot guarantee this is your issue, but it fixed the one that I had!
