go to bluetooth settingss and unpair everything except remote….

clean caches and delete anything u dont need in apps … the more memory u use the less power it has to think….. when u go thru and force stop then clean caches then when all done reboot stick by menu or press and hold the select and play buttons together until it resets ..

IR Signal interference… because the firestick sleeps but does not turn off it coninues to bleed signal and block any digital signal too antenna …. u should be able to unplug the power source and leave it plugged into hdmi and it should work again

make sure you are using the tv remote for the tv and not the firestick remote …The usb chord has to be plugged into the wall. not the tv after u hook the hdmi in all the way press the power button on the firestick wait 60-90 seconds for the firestick to power up and then power the tv on… make sure it is already on the input u are wanting to use before hooking it up… there is a few reasons they do that .. the firestick never goes of it just goes to sleep and the sleep process can confuse the auto detect software in the tv…. as long as the firestick is powered up before the tv is turned on and the tv is already set to the correct input it should reset the auto detect …. good luck works for me everytime ….. happens to me at least evry 3 months with one of my 5 sticks

check the bluetooth devices the only thing that should be there is the 1 remote unpair anything you dont recignize…. For some reason mine will randomly pair to some device and when it does I only get the greeting bell and then no sound click or anything

I had the same problem with mine and i tried everything on here for hours … I have no ideal how or why but mine wound up being bluetooth connected to some random device … Iknow i didnt connect it but sure enough went to bluetooth remotes and devices and saw something i didnt recognize unpaired it and sound works like before
