My Roomba gets “Charging Error 5” As suggest in the Roomba help section, I cleaned the contacts on the docking station and the Roomba and still got the error message.
I bought a new battery off Ebay and still got it, so I thought it must be a dodgy fake battery and I bought a long life lithium ion battery from Amazon…..and I still get Charging Error 5.
So its not the battery and its back to YouTube and that suggests an internal issue with the docking station and too unplug the cord from the docking station and put it directly into the Roombas charging port…. and still Error 5 but now I know its not the docking station.
So whats next? Any suggestions. The nearest repairer is over 3000k away so if I could fix it myself that would be great.
