I had salt water in my phone for a couple of day as I was away and could use any tools. My phone was working at first but then began opening apps and websites on its own and eventually wouldn’t get passed the apple logo. When I return from my vacation I opened up the phone. Their was a very small amount of water in the phone and the water indicators were red. Some screws on the top and bottom edge were rusty so I dismantled all the parts from the phone and began cleaning them. I put everything back together and turned the phone on. The phone powered on and worked but two parts of the screen were unresponsive. The phone later began opening up apps and there was a delay on what I was pressing or opening. Would this be fixed with a new screen or does it sound like their is damage to something else?
HI,
I had salt water in my phone for a couple of day as I was away and could use any tools.
Many thanks
Josh
