This guide doesn't explain how to replace the Touch ID sensor, which is linked to the logic board and must therefore be replaced if you're going to restore the Mac to its previous glory. Seems like an oversight to me.

And I totally agree with @macrepairsf that the step-by-step pictiroal guide is preferable. iFixit guides were brilliant becuase they were NOT videos.

A disappointment.
