what do you mean by "faulty" ? has the grinder stopped completely or is it trying to work but not grinding ? Update (12/07/2016): Descaling your machine every 2-3 months will help prevent alot of issues with these espresso machines. And avoid using oily beans because they tend to over extract the coffee and causes clogging of the grinder. Also avoid refrigerating beans. Moisture will cause clogging of grinder burrs. By doing teardown of your machine to remove grinder and check for scaling or clogging may resolve your issue and no need to replace. This issue is quite common on the Coby tablets. One resolve that seems to work consistently is taking a paperclip and pushing the small reset button for about 10 seconds.
