What year? Auto or manual trans? Input speed output speed or vehicle speed? With a 10mm socket and ratchet, Loosen the intake hose clamp at throttle body, remove 2 air filter housing bolts disconnect the maf sensor and release the wire loom from air filter housing. Remove entire unit from engine, now your trans is exposed. VSS is near the CV shaft area towards the backside of engine. The other 2 are iss -belhousing /torque convertor area Ie engine side of trans and the end case of the trans for oss. IE the fender well- body side of the trans. Both are very similar looking and all use 10mm bolts IIRC. Let me know if you need any more specifics, I prolly have a factory service manual for your car.
If it's 96 or newer it will be OBD2, federal mandated for all auto makers to use the same data connectors in the US of A. International is pretty much same I believe
Check that your throttle is at the correct setting {IE not on choke or idle setting) insure your transmission is in acceptable gear, also note that riding mowers have a seat safety kill switch- deadman switch, so check that its functional, They also may have a kill switch for reverse. Some have an ignition switch with 2 run separate run positions. 1. for blades engagement while reversing and 1 for safety- engine kill while reversing with blades engaged.
