It was not out of warranty at all. It was maybe 6 months into its 1 year warranty..... Asus just found every reason in the book to not RMA the device. I just will have to stay away from Asus since they do not stand behind their products

I tried to RMA mine due to a faulty digitizer. I've only had mine for 6 months. They advised me because it was dropped at one point or another (even though the phone had not been damaged in the least bit physically) they were not able to RMA the phone.
