Battery Replacement

Battery was quite old and no longer holding a good charge.

This went mostly well with other problems coming after. Ran into a few hiccups. The connector for the battery cord was slightly confusing and some screws were worn down. The worst part is on the software side which I'm still trying to deal with. I plan to eventually get a new ssd as well. My current storage is somewhat limited.

When disconnecting/connecting the battery wire, be really delicate. It can be very easy to bend the connector and make a MUCH bigger mess than you already have.

The biggest issue I ran into (and still am having currently) is that Lenovo won't allow a third party battery which isn't considered genuine. I'm now trying to modify the bios and remove these restrictions. This is the main hurdle to expect if you try changing the battery.

Besides that, Inserting the new battery set the bios clock to 0, but was simple to fix.
