Successfully replaced battery in kid's iPhone 6

Infamous iPhone batterygate, was slowing down my kid's iPhone.

修理

One of the adhesive strips broke at the very beginning, but I was able to fish it out (by gently prying the battery) and pulled the strip finally.

アドバイス

It's not entirely necessarily to disconnect the screen, I just used a rubber band to attach the screen assembly to the plastic bottle (isopropyl alcohol bottle worked great) in the vertical position, that gave enough clearance to work on the battery replacement and I did not have to spend time disconnecting screen connectors.
