Batteries can lose their ability to retain charge over time. This guide can be used to remove the battery of an HMX-F90 Camcorder for battery replacement or allow for deeper repairs requiring case removal.

  Pull the release tab away from the battery.
  
  Slide the battery towards the release tab and then pull the battery away from the camcorder.
