what are the battery spec. that are used , for the replacement battery?
i agree with Michael above , the “fix” here is pretty useless without even the physical dimensions of the battery , or removing the tape obscuring the numbers on the existing battery, so we might have some hope of referencing one before tearing apart a device and having it sit while a replacement battery is coming ,,,, remember some of us live in very remote areas where it takes quite a while to get parts

Also, in step 6, if you look closely at the picture you will see that the author has all but ruined the device by prying from the wrong side, and has pulled the board connector off the board. Pry GENTLY from the front where it connects to the other board so the connector disconnects instead of prying it off the board and having to resolder it.
I found a battery on Amazon that works for this application and fits in the case. The one I ordered was called “smavco Bundle SRP603443 Battery for ASTRO A50 Plus Micro USB Cable, 800mAh”. It will not have as much battery run-time as the original 1200 mAh, but it is the correct voltage and physical size, and is the only one I have found that comes close. The last 4 digits tells you the physical size of the battery, 34mm x 43mm in this case. The original was 39mm x 38mm, so this one is really close to the same physical size. If the battery is much longer than the original it won’t fit, so be careful if you order a different battery. Also, the Jabra Cruiser 2 will NOT work with the battery removed, so you can’t just pull the battery and use it plugged in.
