Push the button on the bottom right of the camera and then remove the plastic surrounding the lens.

Once both the front and rear covers are removed, disconnect this ribbon cable by flipping it up and disconnecting it.

Disconnect this cable from the motherboard by sliding it in the direction of the cable (toward the top of the camera).

In step 5, it is only necessary to take out the 2 SST screws at ~ 10 and 3 o’clock. The grey screw at 7 stays with the body.
In step 7, you need to SLIDE the connector toward the top of the camera toward the dial. The tweezers in the photo are moving LEFT, not toward the viewer as I interpreted it. If you lift it up as if to disconnect a socket (like in step 4) away from the mother board with tweezers, you’ll easily destroy the delicate connector (as I found out).
