This replacement is moderate in difficulty because it can be a bit tricky to get inside the side panels of the printer.
There are a few tabs on the top of the panel that hook down and into the black side panel. Insert the tool in-between the black panel and the blue panel as shown and pull the two pieces apart.
Unscrew 2 screws from the back right black panel.
There is a tab you will have to push down to remove the part.
Once the tab is released the cover must be gently lifted away from the rest of the device to disengage the clips.
After unclipping all the hooks, pull off the black side panel to reveal the inner circuit boards.
Unscrew the two screws shown.
There is a large white wire that leads to the USB chip. As you are pulling out the chip, detach the wire.
