The air/ oxygen blender combines the pure oxygen gas with filtered, compressed air to create the proper mixture at the right pressure for the patient. An incorrect mixing or an incorrect pressure will indicate a problem with the unit and will signal a need of change. Found on page 85 in the full service manual.

    • Remove the ribbon cable at the connection on the oxygen blender control board.

    • Mark the plastic hoses attached to the oxygen blender (so you can put them back on the same way) and then remove.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Perform an OVP test to check proper installment.

NOTE: do not interchange control boards with non-socketed ones!
