Other Brand Android Phone Repair

The Android Phone directory is set up to have a page for each brand. As such, any company that sells more than a few phones should get its own directory. There are, though, plenty of phones by obscure manufacturers that only sell one or two models. These companies clutter up the main directory and make phones by more prominent manufacturers harder to find. Because of this, there are some guidelines for this directory:

• If a company sells a reasonably high number of phones, or
• a company only or mainly sells phones, it should get its own page in the main Android Phone directory.
• A brand cannot have its own page within this directory. That's what the Android Phone directory is for. Rather, individual models should go here.
• If a phone has a proper directory, or it does not run Android, it should go in its proper directory.

These rules make iFixit more organized, so please follow them.
