Background
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is a mid-range smartphone announced at Mobile World Congress 2026 which took place in Barcelona. The phone got announced along side its little sibling the Nothing Phone (4a), however Nothing Technology has earlier in 2026 confirmed that the flagship model Nothing Phone (4) will not be released in 2026. The (4a) Pro were officially released at March 21st.
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro features its iconic techno-minimalism with the phone's Glyph Interface being the focal point of the phone. The Glyph Interface provides highlights and alerts in a playful matrix. The (4a) Pro also has, as they claim, the world's first 140x ultra zoom camera, along with an all metal body, and their tri-camera setup powered by the TrueLens Engine 4.
The smartphone come's in the colors Silver, Pink and Black.
Identification
Software Identification
To identify your phone model:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll to and tap About Phone, sometimes also called About Device.
- Look for Model name, or Device name.
Regulatory Information and Model Identification
The smartphone model can be identified by its regulatory information. By the regulatory information on phone's backside (marked by the red square in the image), the first line to the right of the symbols, will have a printed model name.
Visual Identification
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro sits in an all aluminum frame.
The backside of the (4a) Pro has a unique transparent camera house, with three cameras, Nothing's Glyph Interface, and a flash. The bottom left of the backside has a small dimple, and next to it Nothing's dotted logotype lettering, and regulatory information in the bottom right.
The front of the smartphone features slim bezels and a single hole punched camera in the top center.
The right side of the (4a) Pro has two volume buttons, with a power button a little bellow. The right side of the smartphone has one button that Nothing calls the Essential Key.
The bottom of smartphone has a Usb Type-C port in the middle, with a pinhole microphone and a nanoSim slot to the left and a speaker grill to the right.
