Nothing Phone (4a) Repair

The Nothing Phone (4a) is a budget smartphone announced at Mobile World Congress 2026 along with the Phone (4a) Pro model. The smartphone were released on March 13th, 2026.

The Phone (4a) features a unique techno-minimalist design, with a transparent backside showing off the machined aluminum underneath. The smartphone has a three camera system powered by TrueLens Engine 4 with a 70x ultra zoom, and a Glyph bar highlighting important events which also includes a red "we are live" light.

To identify your phone model:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Scroll to and tap About Phone, sometimes also called About Device.
3. Look for Model name, or Device name.

The smartphone model can be identified by its regulatory information. By the regulatory information on phone's backside (marked by the red square in the image), the first line to the right of the symbols, will have a printed model name.

The Phone (4a) sits in a plastic frame with a glass back on top of aluminum, the body comes in the colors Pink, Blue, White and Black.

The backside is made out of glass, with an intricate aluminum design behind the glass panel. At the top center of the back is three cameras in a cluster of two and one, with a flash offset to the right above the cameras. To the right of the camera house is a bar of lights, called the the Glyth bar, along with a red "live" light. The bottom left of the backside has Nothing's dotted logotype lettering, and the bottom right has regulatory markings.

The front of the front of the smartphone has slim bezels, with a hole punched camera in the center top. The right side of the phone has two volume buttons, and a power button, and the left side has a single button called the Essential Key.

The bottom of the phone has a Usb-C port, with a pinhole microphone and a nanoSim card slot to the left, and a speaker grill to the right.
