Intel Arc A380 Repair

The Intel Arc A380 is Intel's first discrete Graphic Processing Unit for consumer market, a budget GPU released on June 14, 2022. The Arc A380 is also the first discrete GPU released under the Intel Arc brand, following several mobile GPU launches earlier that year.

The Arc A380 features AI upscaling with Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling Technology), Raytracing, DirecX12 Ultimate support and native AV1 media hardware encoding with 6 GB of VRam, all the while being the cheapest discrete graphic card released at the time.

The Intel Arc A-series, known as codename Alchemist, previously known as codename DG2 is the first generation of Intel Arc GPUs, which comes as mobile (laptop), desktop and workstation form factors. The Alchemist series uses Intel Xe-HPG architecture and supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, OpenCL 3.0 and AV1 hardware encoding.

The Alchemist series was first announced in a press release in August 2021, with an official announcement in March 2022, with the A-series release on March 30th, 2022. The Intel Arc A380 got released later the same year, on June 14th, 2022.
