Background and Identification
The Braun Series 7 790cc is a rechargeable wet and dry foil electric shaver sold with a charging station and a travel case. Founded in 1921, Braun is a German consumer products company that has been a subsidiary of Procter & Gamble since 2005. The company first only produced components for radio sets and audio equipment. Then, in the 1950s, Braun began creating the item it is most known for today—the electric shaver, a bladed tool used in the removal of body hair.
The Braun Series 7 790cc features stainless steel blades and Intelligent Sonic technology that automatically increases the shaver’s power while shaving in difficult areas and on denser hair. It is advertised by Braun as being 100-percent waterproof. The 790cc model also includes an ActiveLift trimmer that is designed to capture flat-lying hairs in problem areas. Its OptiFoil is advertised to cut hair as short as 0.05mm. The Braun Series 7 790cc includes four total shaving elements with three cutting elements and one SkinGuard.
The Braun Series 7 790cc includes the name “Braun” printed in capital letters with the ‘A’ printed slightly larger font than the other letters. The charging station also includes the name “Braun” printed in the same style. The charging station is black while the shaver itself is silver.
