Background
The ASUS Eee PC 1201N was released in January of 2010. It was a light weight netbook that was designed as a cheap alternative to a larger, more powerful laptop. It also contains a sleek mechanical keyboard, as well as a bumpy touchpad. There is a small 0.3 megapixel webcam that can be used for various apps such as, SKYPE or Oovoo. The ASUS Eee PC 1201N contains a 6-cell battery that lasts approximately 4 hours.
Identification
The laptop has a triple Eee logo on the top left corner of the screen. The laptop has a model number located on the back which is 1201N-CHT-SI01HP.
