i just broke my vita as well and still no guide on how to replace the screen yet? Sony just told me they wont even bother to fix mine so looks like I gotta do it myself.. do i have to disassemble the entire vita before i can replace the screen? or can I just inscrew it and and then just change out the screen?

Use our motherboard guide through step 44 to remove all of the internals from the Vita. From there, you'll have to use a decent amount of evenly distributed heat, like we did in our teardown to separate the display assembly from the frame. Good luck.
