How do I fix my hinges on my laptop it won't open

Hello,
Open up the laptop using the correct screwdriver, disconnect the battery (optional but recommended), unplug the display connector (required), unplug the Wireless cables (also required), unscrew the screws holding down the display hinges with the correct screwdriver. Try to get one of iFixit's toolkits in the meantime.

@jamestalyer here is the Acer Ferrari 4000 Service Manual. Check page 63 as well as 75 and on, to work on the hinges.
