So the radio will work but the display won't light up or show. Checked the fuse box and it wasnt the problem

Hi @rikklipp
Could be just blown bulbs in the radio itself.
Here's a link that has some videos that show how to replace the bulbs that may help so that you can check if they're OK or not.
