1. Restart the phone
- Simple but often effective.
- Hold the power button → tap Restart.
2. Check permissions
- Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Permissions.
- Make sure Camera, Microphone, and Storage permissions are allowed.
3. Clear Camera app cache
- Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage & Cache > Clear Cache.
- If that doesn’t work, try Clear Data (this resets camera settings).
4. Test with Safe Mode
- Hold Power button, then long-press Power off → tap Reboot to Safe Mode.
- Open the Camera app in Safe Mode.
- If it works → another app is conflicting.
- If it still fails → likely system or hardware issue.
5. Check Flash
- Open Camera → switch to Photo mode, then toggle flash.
- If flash won’t turn on or shows an error → it could be a hardware issue.
6. Update software
- Go to Settings > About phone > System update → install any pending updates.
7. Factory reset (last resort)
- Backup your data first.
- Go to Settings > About phone > Factory reset.
- This removes software glitches that might block the camera.
