Mic doesn't work after changing screen

I have replaced my broken screen with one bought here on IFIXIT but I see that the microphone does not work, I have tried everything (factory reset, examine the ports to see if there is a physical problem) but nothing. I have read that it may be a problem with the fingerprint software, but being so what can be done?
