Face ID doesn't work after front camera module replacement

Hi

Under iphone 15 pro front camera page shows :

"This assembly includes the front-facing camera and Face ID hardware. These parts come as one unit, and the sensors are uniquely paired to your logic board. Replacing the front camera assembly means you'll lose Face ID functionality and, as of iOS 17.0, may still experience issues using your front camera."

I replaced the front camera and the Face ID doesn't work. Is there any solution to active the Face ID function?

try updating to ios 18, it is giving options to replace genuine apple parts

Hi,

Yes there is, but it’s probably going to be a visit to the repair shop if you don’t have the equipment or skills to do it.
