I tried different flashcarts, putting tape on the battery to try and hold it in place better, and trying to turn it on without a flashcart inserted. After a few attempts it will sometimes turn on but after playing a game for a bit it would turn off. After I put tape on the battery it seems like the games don't turn off as much now but I still have trouble booting it up. I have unlaunch installed if that matters.

Okay, so without a game it's having the same issues?
Did you also tried to boot without SD card?
If it still give you trouble without the SD card and game, I would replace the power board! This is most likely the part giving you issues.
