ASUS Q405Uは、2017年にASUSから発売されたノートパソコンです。第8世代Intelプロセッサを搭載し、Windows 10を採用しており、多くの接続オプションを備えています。

Won't turn on

The notebook not coming on.

When the AC power cord is plugged in the charging light comes on & it's a constant white light. (which means the battery is charged 95-100%)

But when you press the power button it flickers one time and doesn't come on. Also, the charging indicator will flicker off and then come back on as a constant white light after a minute. This is while plugged in.

When the AC power cord isn't plugged in. The power indicator flickers and nothing comes on.

Can someone help me ?

does your charger show any signs of wear or have a loose connection?

if not, does the charge port on the laptop feel loose?

No there's no loose connection. The power cord is in great condition. Nothing feels loose near the port

@cassandradover Start off with the easy things. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from your computer. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. Remove the battery Now hold the power button depressed for about 30sec-1min. Reapply the AC power adapter and see if your computer does show any sign of life.

This "power indicator flickers and nothing comes on" sounds like a bad battery. Get an ammeter and see if your laptop draws any amperage from the charger. After that, you need to check and see if your motherboard even gets power. You will also have to check the switch as well For that of course, you need to open it up. Post Some good pictures of what you see. That way we can see what you see. iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法

Okay when you say remove the battery. Do you you want me to open up the laptop and disconnect the battery?

@cassandradover if you can. Use this guide ASUS Q405Uのバッテリー交換 to get to it. Now you are already half way there and it might be a good idea to do the ammeter checking, to see if our battery still draws a charge. If not, I'd replace the battery anyhow,
