Anyone else ever lose magnetism on tool temporarily?

I was repairing a device today and my driver suddenly lost magnetism. I tried everything to remedy the situation to no avail. Minutes later, the magnetism suddenly came back all on it's own. Solar flare? Neutrinos? Has this happened to anyone else?

Sorry to be a nerd, but neutrinos are electrically neutral, and don't affect magnetic fields. Maybe the magnet itself isn't secured to the driver properly?

Hi @battplus_eric, this happened to me. Eventually I realized that the magnetism of the tool is due to a small magnet in the tip and that it had fallen out. Sure enough, I found the magnet stuck to the back of a bit that I had put back into the case. If this happened to you, you might find my recent question useful: How to get magnet to stay inside driver tip?

If you unfortunately lost the little magnet, you might be able to salvage one from the case as they appear about the same size (How to remove magnet stuck inside driver head).
