intermittent failure associated with interior light off

I have a whirlpool microwave, about 5 years old. intermittent failure to heat when the interior light goes off. That light can come back on and then heat as well as the turntable work. Coincidence? Not sure. I can provide s/n et. al. but want a first take on what be causing this.

Hi Murray,

Serial number isn't needed, but the model number will allow people here to look up schematic diagrams (if available) for your particular machine. Wiring can vary widely so it's necessary to have the correct model to be able to help.
