Mac trying to open file when it wakes up
when my 2014 Mac wakes up I receive the. message The file can't be found
any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry not enough information to tell you which file of the hundreds your system accesses just booting up.
I would recommend you create a bootable OS installer so you can bootup cleanly via it, then re-install the OS (same version) if that doesn't fix things then you have a startup script which is looking for a file.
