Screen has multicolored lines running across the screen
Display window has multiple colored static lines running across the screen. Kind of disappear when I tap on subject but background is very fuzzy

This sounds like the LED LCD panel or ribbon cable is faulting.
Can you provide the brand and model of laptop?

I have had this sort of issue too but with a older model so I don't know if this is still valid but for me it was an issue with the screen but I imagine that it could also be a connecter or wire.
