1 I damaged my MBP 15” 2019 battery while trying to open in it
I opened my MacBook to clean it. The backplate was very difficult to open, harder than usual (this is already like the 5th time I‘m opening it). After cleaning I noticed that the battery was damaged. Imo the damage is not severe, but I have no experience with batteries exploding and catching fire. The inner layer of the battery is slightly visible.
Guys, what are the odds that it could explode? The battery already needs to be replaced, since it has about 950 cycles, but I would like to use it for a couple of days. Thanks.
