2010 does transit connect gives a faulty “door open” alarm.
Sometimes when the passenger door is closed the car thinks it’s open. Where is the point of failure and how can I fix it? 2010 ford transit connect XLT cargo model. Thanks.

This sounds like a faulty door latch assembly. There is a contact within the latch that tells the vehicle that the door is closed and they can fail over time. You can try using a penetrating oil on the door latch to see if that cleans the contact enough to work again, but if it does not you will need to replace the whole latch assembly. I was not able to find a tutorial online for this exact replacement.
