Fix ink in screen or display
Hello there I kept on to this phone since 2017. Both my grandparents passed away together and all the pictures are saved to the phone and I dropped it. The ink inside has spread please could you help? ☆

H... How did you get *ink* in the display? I'm legitimately curious. As long as the phone still turns on, you can plug it in to a computer, and copy all the files. If it doesn't turn on, you may have to replace some of the parts. Can you send some pictures of the phone, particularly of the screen, and what happens when you try to turn it on?

@shinle you will encounter the "ink" issue on here quit a bit. It seems like when the AMOLED or SuperAMOLED screens cracks, those LED's leak into the display area and give an appearance of ink inside the screen :-)

Hi Jessica,
Cell phone screens don't actually have "ink" in them, although when they are damaged it can look like ink has filled in broken areas.
Regardless, as @shingle has mentioned you may be able to connect the phone to a computer and download the pictures that way, although many times an interaction on the screen is required in order to allow the connection.
If that's the case you'll need to get the phone fixed in order to interact and allow access. Replacing the screen is something you can do yourself or you can take it to a repair shop if repairing it yourself is out of your comfort zone.
