Hello.
Finally got my much-wanted JSAUX backplate mod installed on my Deck and noticed there is a small, thin gap at the top by the power button and charging port.
Will I run into problems, such as debris getting inside and damaging or breaking my Deck? Circled the potential problem in blue. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong site on which to post my question — people were so helpful last time. Thanks.
actually there's an easy fix for this.
remove the backplate. then put a flat plastic (the one that comes with it if you still have it.) on the thermal pad of the backplate. then press (or massage) it hard going to other directions to make it a little flat. then try to fit it again to your deck. there should be no more gaps. that's what I did with mine.

I don't know what you're referring to by "a flat plastic". Are you saying to just flatten the thermal pad and then put the backplate back on the Deck?
