What is your Mac system
Are you sure the Bluetooth is active? Are you able to connect other Bluetooth devices?

All other bluetooth devices work. The headphones connected to my mac a few updates ago but the bluetooth no longer sees it. Also, I cannot find any update for the headphones. I think I might have to give these headphones away to a friend who uses a windows system. I'll never buy another Corwin anything or any of their related products, but if I can find a way around this I'll tell everybody.
@swendas - Let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water quite yet. Give this a try Monitor a Bluetooth Device’s Connection Strength in Mac OS X it’s a bit old but I think it will still work. Give it a try and try a second device.
Can you tell us which system you have as that would help me helping you.

Ventura 13.3.1 / all other bluetooth devices work fine. Should I reset the bluetooth?

Yo tengo el mismo problema con una Mac oS Mojave, tuve que comprar un receptor para poderlo usar, pero obvio no es nada cómodo. Leí que al final tienes que actualizar tu sistema operativo, pero los programas que uso no me funcionan si los actualizo.
