What am I missing here?

Hello,

I have a Kenmore Elite He3t washing machine. I have replaced the 7DD68 display panel 3 times now.

This is the problem. The push buttons push in to far and they slowly stop responding. Also the Start becomes slowly delayed and can take 40 seconds on constantly holding it down.

P.S. all 3 panels including the original panel all worked perfectly for the first few months.

Very odd behavior in this washer lol. Otherwise the washer is excellent.

Any suggestions?
