Temperature showing -40 and engine light on

I've been having an issue recently with my 2014 ram 3500 where my front windows won't roll down, my mirror adjustment won't work, but I can roll my back windows down. So I replaced the door button cluster and that worked for about a month, replaced it again and it did the same thing. So I replaced the drivers door module and that fixed the window and mirrors problem, but now I have an engine light and my outside temp display on the dash says -40°. Anyone know what this problem is now? I'm guessing the sensor in the drivers side mirror runs through this module and that was just replaced this past winter. So I have no idea what's going on now. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi,

Get the OBDII port scanned for any codes.

If there are any it is the quickest way to find out why the engine light is on.

AutoZone in the USA will do this for free apparently.

External temperature sensors can be mounted anywhere so determine where yours is. It may be just disconnected or wire damage.
